Dear Magionaters,
Welcome back! I hope you all had some fine summer days! While we haven't posted any news for the past month, I can't say we've been completely gone. We've been having some nice developments.
First of all, August was a month where we got many reviews. We have little to complain with the press we've been getting:
"A great singer, that can easily join the ranks of Simone Simons and Floor Jansen, and a bunch of superb musicians!" (Aardschok)
"It is obvious that their intent is serious" (Flight of Pegasus)
"Everything falls into place on ‘Close To Eternity’" (Lords of Metal)
Obviously, we're quite proud to be getting such reviews! Thanks to all reviewers! More press is on the way, and will be reported on our reviews page.
Whether it's this raving press, I don't know, but our CD sales are going well! Many people took the effort to buy our CD at our webshop. At the rate it's currently going, we'll be selling out our first pressing within the next few months. Be sure to get your copy while we still have some left! Our distribution is increasing; international customers can buy our CD now through iTunes, CDBaby, and Amazon amongst others. Or head over to the online Female Metal Music Superstore, Sonic Cathedral. They recently stocked our CD and will be posting more on us in their webzine soon!
In October, Femme Metal UK will be releasing their 'Beauty and Brutality' compilation CD. Head over to their site for a review!
Finally, next week we'll be playing at Paard van Troje, together with ReVamp. We're hoping to have a nice surprise for you there: we've been busy this summer with creating shirts and girlies; hopefully, they'll be in in time! Make sure to check them out!
